Parshall Flumes:

All dimensions are per the United States Department of the Interior Water Measurement Manual. An isophthalic polyester resin is used throughout in fabrication, with all inside surfaces having a 15-mil layer of white gelcoat containing UV inhibitors.

Typically, a 2" wide by 3/8" thick flange is located on both ends and along the top edges. Four fiberglass angles are typically mounted across the top flange. External fiberglass ribs are located on the larger fiberglass Parshall flumes. All workmanship and dimensions are in accordance with the NBS PS 15-69 product standard.

Each flume has an embedded staff gauge located at the 2/3 "A" location. Stilling wells are available for an additional charge, but are not included in our online price. Prices are subject to change without notice.
