D.J. Gongol and Associates, Inc. can help you with virtually any turbidity barrier or turbidity curtain application.
Floating turbidity barriers are available both in permeable and impermeable materials, and can be installed both in open water (as in a lake or in the ocean) or can be placed near any shore where disruption can discharge sediment into a river or stream.
Turbidity curtains are suspended vertically in the water, hanging from floats, and deflect and contain sediment long enough to allow the sediment particles to settle in the bottom of the reservoir.
By acting as an energy-dissipation system for the runoff water, turbidity barriers help prevent solids like rocks, clay, and mud from becoming suspended in the receiving body of water.
