EPA issues $250,000 fine for stormwater violations

The EPA certainly means business when it comes to violations of stormwater regulations: A sand and gravel plant in New Hampshire is being fined a quarter of a million dollars for letting solids make their way into a creek. Stormwater treatment is rising rapidly in significance among the areas of Federal environmental regulation.
