Hot, dry spring weather has diminished the Wyoming snowpack so much, the state's river basins are getting dry again. The lingering drought has lasted so long that little of the snow-melt is making its way to the streams, leaving rivers like the Platte short on new inflow. Nebraska will feel the consequences.
