Stormwater Detention System Bugs Des Moines Neighbors

A stormwater detention pond installed next to I-235 in order to handle excess rainwater in case of storms is apparently aggravating some neighbors who think it's unsightly and fear it'll become a breeding ground for mosquitoes. Effective stormwater management is a challenge that becomes increasingly significant as urban areas expand and as their impact on navigable waters grows.
