EPA allocates $24 million to Iowa's Drinking Water SRF
May 29, 2009
The SRF program is the State Revolving Fund, essentially a pool of money used for low-interest-rate loans to communities for upgrades to their municipal water systems. The
$24 million infusion comes from the economic-stimulus package passed earlier this year. Iowa has an
active SRF program in place, used for both
municipal water and
wastewater projects.
