Yet another set of brutal storms in Iowa
July 28, 2008
Parts of central and south-central Iowa were especially hard-hit by overnight storms that brought
powerful winds and heavy rain, which, as they often do, led to widespread power outages. The problem with power outages in these kinds of storms is that we need power to run pumps -- from
sump pumps to
sewage lift stations -- and these outages come at the time of greatest need. That's why we offer
battery-backup sump pumps and
lift stations with engine backups. These tools make it possible to maintain service when you need it most.
