Postville plant raid could affect local water

After about 300 workers were arrested by authorities over immigration violations, the meatpacking plant in Postville is likely to have some changes in operations. Because much of the plant is devoted to kosher slaughter work, its wastewater has previously been noted for high levels of salt, which can be toxic to aquatic life. We offer several water-quality sensors that can help monitor for such pollutants.
