A report
issued to coincide with St. Patrick's Day suggests that Ireland has already begun to lose some of its eastern coastlands due to rising sea levels brought on by climate change. The likelihood that many places will encounter higher sea levels due to global warming suggests that
flood and stormwater controls will become a much more urgent matter for people to consider all around the world, including Ireland and the United States. And if climate changes result in different precipitation patterns, that would considerably affect agriculture.
