Watershed affecting one-third of Nebraska's population needs flood upgrades
February 9, 2008
The
Papillion Creek watershed, which covers about a third of Nebraska's entire population, is going through a process to
review the need for additional flood controls that will be needed, particularly as the population in the watershed grows. In particular, they are looking at
adding dams in the watershed, in addition to other stormwater controls.
We can help you with
sluice gates,
flap gates, and
upstream level-control gates, all of which are commonly used for flood controls. Please feel free to
contact us with your questions.
