Iowa still may face much higher costs for water cleanup

The ongoing process of review taking place at the Iowa DNR hasn't quite been settled yet, but it seems quite likely that
tighter regulations on water use and quality all over the state of Iowa will force hundreds of communities to upgrade their
wastewater treatment systems. Widely-used systems like
aerated lagoons may no longer be enough, leading to a need for more mechanical plants around the state.
