Energy bill improves the landscape for E-85

85% ethanol blends of gasoline received a boost from the energy bill just signed by the President, which prohibits oil companies from interfering with the installation of E85 pumps at their franchise stations. The bill also mandates widespread installation of E85 pumps at federal fleet fueling centers across the country. Federal regulations already guide government vehicles towards the use of renewable fuels, including a heavy emphasis on biodiesel. We have considerable experience helping with the application of equipment at ethanol and biodiesel plants.
