Grand Island diver becomes city hero
December 18, 2007
Dave Lemburg, a
volunteer rescue diver in Grand Island, has been the target of considerable praise in central Nebraska after
volunteering to fix a broken valve sumberged in 15 feet of sewage at the city's wastewater plant. The break
nearly caused the city to lose sewage service. Many communities are finding our
portable lift stations to be a very valuable tool for avoiding similar circumstances.
