EPA rules could be hurting contact-lens-wearers' eyes

It's a case of unintended consequences: The EPA has changed the rules for water disinfection in a way that is generally reducing the levels of disinfectant chemicals that are found in water supplies, but it appears that the change could be
increasing the chances that some wearers of contact lenses will pick up eye infections.
