Omaha may have to spend $3 billion replacing sewers

The EPA is forcing just about every significant metropolitan area to separate their storm sewers from their sanitary sewers, and the cost is huge: In Omaha, the estimated cost
could be as high as $3 billion. In the city of Des Moines, the estimate is
closer to $250 million -- still nothing to sneeze at.
