Omaha's new water plant illustrates new water security methods

The new Platte West Water Treatment Plant in Omaha, which will use a batch of Patterson horizontal split-case pumps, is being held up as an example of the next generation of water-treatment plants, using enhanced techniques for better plant security and customer safety.
