Contaminated water makes campers sick
August 16, 2006
More than 100 people got sick this summer after visiting a Bible camp in Wyoming, where
fecal contamination made the water unsafe to drink. The camp was
voluntarily shut down after Wyoming's health department found the problems. Small water systems can easily and inexpensively install either
ultraviolet filters or
chlorination systems to substantially reduce the risk to human health.
