Big wildfire in northwest Nebraska

The Spotted Tail Fire is creating a mess around Chadron and Harrison. The fire was sparked by lightning and covers more than 26,000 acres. Low humidity and high winds are making the situation worse. Nebraska remains at considerable risk for wildfires due to the persistent drought.
