London is so low on water, tankers and icebergs are being considered

Drought isn't just a problem in the Great Plains and Intermountain West of the United States, it's also causing huge problems for southeastern England, including London. Rainfall is so short there that alternatives like shipping water by tanker are under serious consideration. As fresh-water supply decreases, demand for expensive treatment approaches like full recycling of wastewater and desalination of seawater start to look like serious possibilities.
